Recycling and Waste Disposal
Drop-off Site Locations and Site Information
Recycling sites are open for residential recycling only. No business-generated material accepted. Businesses must contract with a waste hauler for this service. All recycling activities (except Webb Lake, Midtown and town/village contracts) are operated by Recycling Control Commission through NW Regional Planning Commission, 715-635-2197
Burnett County operates a joint recycling program with Washburn County-Recycling Control Commission. With this cooperation, residents may utilize any of the recycling sites in Burnett or Washburn Counties. Any residency restrictions that may be enforced are for garbage or yard waste and not for recycling.
